Carly Pictures is named after my mother, Caroline (Carly) Hardy, who has been recently revealed as the unacknowledged supporter and financier behind The Wicker Man.  She is therefore, arguably, the forgotten executive producer of a cult classic.  The most recent Wicker Man films, made by the next generation, are produced under her name - hence Carly Pictures.  It is a subsidiary of Wicker Pictures that helps to exhibit the legacy of Robin Hardy’s The Wicker Man. Carly Pictures has produced The Children of The Wicker Man feature doc (2025) with Dominic Hardy and Chris Nunn, and Wrath of the Gods fiction feature film (2026) with the same team plus Alison Palmer.  ​​​​​​​​​​
