Wicker Originals

Wicker Originals is a new conception of Wicker Pictures; one that seeks to expand the world of Wicker through the medium of graphic novels.

Currently in early development, Wicker Originals would see an illustrative story depicting the origins of Summerisle. These graphic novels would be prequels to the original film, telling engaging new stories in a different format for Wicker.

The format will allow Wicker Pictures to display the rich vibrancy that permeates every frame of The Wicker Man, and that has existed even stronger in our own imaginations. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Despite it's origins as a comprehensive documentary regarding The Wicker Man and its burning legacy, Children of the Wicker Man became something different; a personal reckoning with the film from the perspective of it's victims, Justin and Dominic.

However, now prepare for the definitive Wicker Man documentary. Utilising new and old footage, new sources and documents, spanning over 50 years, Wickermania! dives into the myths and behind-the-scenes stories from the cult classic film.
